This page explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on the Human Time Ledger website. As of the last update, the website does not install its own cookies and does not use profiling, advertising or user behaviour analytics tools.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website may store in a user's browser. They can be used for essential technical functions, to remember preferences, to measure traffic or for advertising and profiling purposes.
Similar rules apply to other technologies that can read or store information on a device, including local storage, pixels, identifiers and fingerprinting techniques.
2. Current website configuration
In its current configuration, Human Time Ledger:
- does not install profiling or advertising cookies;
- does not use Google Analytics or other web analytics systems;
- does not embed advertising pixels, social plugins, maps, videos or chat tools;
- does not use local storage or session storage to track navigation;
- does not create user profiles or combine navigation data with other sources.
For this reason, the website does not display a banner requesting consent to cookies.
3. Technical infrastructure logs
The services hosting the website and APIs may generate technical logs containing, for example, the IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser, request outcome and errors. This data is used to provide the service, diagnose problems and prevent abuse.
Technical logs are not cookies and do not involve Human Time Ledger code storing identifiers in the browser. Their processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Stripe and external websites
When a user chooses to make a contribution, they are redirected to a checkout page hosted by Stripe. From that point, navigation takes place on an external domain and Stripe may use cookies and technical, security and fraud-prevention technologies in accordance with its own notice.
Human Time Ledger does not control cookies installed by external websites reached through links. The mere presence of an external link does not install cookies on the Human Time Ledger domain.

5. Why there is no banner
Prior consent and a related banner are required when cookies or other tracking technologies other than strictly necessary technologies are used. Because the current configuration does not use such tools, a consent banner is not required.
If third-party analytics, embedded content, pixels, advertising, marketing tools or other non-essential technologies are introduced in the future, they will be blocked until the user has made a choice and this policy will be updated.
6. Browser controls
Users can still review, block or delete cookies through their browser settings. Blocking all technical cookies on other websites may prevent some features from working correctly.

The absence of a banner depends on the current technical configuration. Any future integration of analytics, advertising, social widgets, embedded video or other third-party services must be assessed before publication.
